Pigs in a Blanket is a tiny zine filled with whatever info I could find (previous offenses, salary, badge numbers, other jobs etc) on Columbus Division of Police’s current known killers from the past 7 years. This zine is an attempt at what scholar Simone Browne calls ‘dark sous-veillance’ a type of counter surveillance done by The Marginalized Many to surveil the powerful. By watching the police, studying them, we take the steps to know our enemy—and knowing one’s enemy is the first step in fighting back. This is by no means an all encompassing document, my hope is that as this circulates we can add to it, creating an every growing archive that can act as one more site for our people’s resistance.
